The problem
GSI operates a large, unique ion accelerator that scientists from around the world use to study the structure of matter. Anyone managing projects of that size has to keep effort, costs and remaining budget in view, and grant funding adds a duty of transparency towards the donors. GSI already used Qlik Sense for standard reporting, but generating and distributing individual reports had to happen automatically.
